Wrong end of the mutual stick

My blogs for People Management have explored a range of issues largely covering employee engagement and leadership development themes. They have included a celebration of the hitherto unfashionable mutuals and the importance of culture to performance, especially within the financial services sector. So I should be celebrating the attention the government is currently giving to John Lewis. But for me, it’s a little disappointing that Nick Clegg chose to focus on the shareholding aspect of the John Lewis business model in his recent, high profile City address. Continue reading
